This art-inspired hotel is rising along Palawan’s longest beach line

MANILA, Philippines — Property giant Megaworld, the country’s largest developer and operator of homegrown Filipino hotel brands, is building its second hotel development inside its 462-hectare Paragua Coastown ecotourism township in San Vicente, Palawan.

The 10-story Paragua Sands Hotel will offer 313 guest rooms and suites in varied layouts, ideal for tourists and travelers visiting the picturesque town of San Vicente. Room types and sizes range from Twin Suite (up to 32 sqm), Queen Suite (up to 32.5 sqm), Junior Suite (up to 61 sqm), Executive Suite (up to 60.5 sqm), and Presidential Suite (140 sqm).

There will also be dedicated Specially-Abled Suites (up to 34 sqm) for guests needing special room arrangements during their stay. These rooms will feature varying views of the nearby mountains and the nearby Pagdanan Bay.

Paragua Sands Hotel will be just a five-minute walk to both the beach and the mangrove reserve park, which will form part of the sprawling township. It will sit right beside Savoy Hotel Palawan and Oceanfront Premier Residences, the first hotel and residential condominium developments rising inside the township respectively, and surrounded by lots from the soon-to-rise Mercato Shophouse District nearby.

The hotel’s façade will showcase gradient-colored balconies and walls with art murals inspired by modern contemporary art, which will further distinguish Paragua Sands Hotel from all the other surrounding developments.

Entering the grand hotel lobby, guests will be welcomed by interiors characterized by a variety of earth tones and natural elements inspired by the lush and rich surroundings embracing Paragua Coastown.

The hues of the floor will reflect some of the most beautiful shades of the fine sands of the beach, which San Vicente is well-regarded for. Local materials, like solihiya and rattan, fused with modern expressions will be used for the furniture, decorative lights and screens throughout the interiors.

Paragua Sands Hotel will feature a variety of exciting facilities and amenities located at the central amenity area on the second and third floors. These include its own swimming pool and kiddie pool, a pool deck with seating area, an
