Titan, Knoxout, Healthy Home off to flying starts | The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — Titan, Knoxout, and Healthy Home got off to the best possible start they could in the Cebu Architects Basketball Club (CABC) 2nd Boysen Cup at the Benedicto College-Cebu City Campus gymnasium recently.

Miggy Aparri sizzled with 21 points, one assist and six rebounds while Wilfredo Lastimosa added 15 points, one assist, and five rebounds to lift Titan past Konstrukt, 67-62.

Roldan Bonjoc scored 13 points and Manuel Niere tallied 11 markers in a losing effort for Konstrukt.

On the other hand, the explosive troika of Joseph Cabigas, Mark Bajenting, and Darren Morandante all dished out a double-double in powering Knoxout to a 77-67 drubbing of Roof Guard.

Cabigas fired 24 points and 10 rebounds, Bajenting netted 20 points laced with 15 boards, five dimes and a steal, while Morandante collected 13 points and 16 rebounds.

Euman Neri also cracked double figures for Knoxout with 13 points.

Miguel Cenabre paced Roofguard with 30 points and 15 rebounds.

In the other result, Ferdinand Tiro and Mark Paradero dropped 20 points each as Healthy Home slammed  Plexibond, 57-46.

John Buhawe had 11 points and 10 rebounds but to no avail for Plexibond. – EBV
