2 Angono councilors suspended for unethical conduct

TWO Angono, Rizal councilors have been suspended for violation of RA 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public official and RA 9262, or the Anti Violence Against Women and Children’s Act.

Suspended for one month each were councilors Roberto Sison Jr. and Jhoana Duran who now face administrative cases.

They allegedly are involved in an illegal relationship while physically abusing a minor.

Their suspension was carried out through the Panlalawigan Council Resolution 487 series of 2024 signed by 12 board members, lawyer Roselle Andallo Ramilo and Vice Governor Reynaldo San Juan Jr. last August 12.

The suspended councilors have been given 15 days to respond to the complaint against them.
