A+EBA’s maiden Buildrite Cup kicks off today at CPA gym | The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - The inaugural Buildrite Cup of the Architects+Engineers Basketball Association (A+EBA) gets underway today at the Cebu Port Authority (CPA) gymnasium.

Josephril Partosa,  A+EBA’s Vice President for Operations, said in a press conference yesterday at Dimes Bistro+Coffee that a total of 12 teams divided into two groups of six will be seeing action in the tournament backed up  by Buildrite Contruction Chemicals as major sponsor and also supported by Golden Hammer Construction Supply, Litepanel, HD Prime Lift, BM Engineering, EGS, Strato Builders & Services, Dextructures, and New Framework Builders.

Bracket A is composed of Max Bond, TOFil, Blocktite, Sinclair, Blockout, and Sapal.

Making up Bracket B are Stop Gap,  Handyfix, Rubberstop, Smartbond, Floorteck, and Confix.

They will play in a single round robin format.

The top four teams per bracket at the end of the elimination will advance to the quarterfinal playoffs. The winners will proceed to the semis, and then to the finals. — EBV
