"After thoughtful contemplation, I would like to respectfully inform you of my intention to withdraw my signature affixed in the document objecting against the contempt order directed towards Kingdom of Jesus Christ Pastor Apollo Quiboloy," sabi ng senador ngayong araw.

"Serious allegations of rape during the last committee hearing of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality have prompted me to carefully review the facts, witness testimonies and additional information."

Official statement on the reversal of the contempt citation vs Pastor Apollo Quiboloy: After careful review of the facts, witness testimonies, & additional information, such as the allegations of rape during the last committee hearing, I’ve decided to withdraw my signature today. pic.twitter.com/btMLZZKL9g

Nais harangin nina Padilla, Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Cynthia Villar at Sen. Bong Go ang pagpapa-cite in contempt at pagpapa-aresto kay Quiboloy sa ngalan ng "separation of church and state."

"This brought me to the decision to withdraw my signature," dagdag pa niya.

"The public hearing of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality is a venue for the Pastor to clear his name. I believe that our Committee Chairperson will facilitate a fair and impartial proceeding."
