Finals ticket pakay ng Magnolia | Pilipino Star Ngayon

MANILA, Philippines — Ang pagbulsa sa ikalawang finals berth ang hangad ng Magnolia, habang ang paghirit ng ‘rubber match’ ang pakay ng Phoenix sa Season 48 PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinals series.

Magtutuos ang Hotshots at Fuel Masters sa Game Four ngayong alas-8 ng gabi sa MOA Arena sa Pasay City.

Tangan ng Magnolia ang 2-1 bentahe sa kanilang best-of-five semifinals showdown ng Phoenix at ang mananalo ang sasagupa sa naghihintay na San Miguel sa best-of-seven championship series.

Kinumpleto ng Beermen ang 3-0 sweep sa Ginebra Gin Kings sa kanilang semis duel.

Diniskaril ng Fuel Masters ang tangkang pagwalis sa kanila ng Hotshots matapos isingit ang 103-85 panalo sa Game Three noong Linggo.

“They’re gonna watch the film and they’re gonna look at the things that didn’t work for them and worked for us. So they’re gonna counter that,” ani Phoenix coach Jamike Jarin sa Magnolia.

Puntirya ng Hotshots ang kanilang ika-32 finals stint at target ang pang-15 titulo.

Ngunit inaasahang pipigilin ito ng Fuel Masters na nakabangon mula sa isang 21-point deficit para agawin ang Game Three.

“We now know what to do in the endgame,” sabi ni Phoenix forward Jason Perkins. “We just need to execute, get organized, rebound, and play defense.”
