In Daanbantayan and Bogo this weekend : All set and ready for back-to-back PBA Greats basketball showdown | The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — Back-to-back slambang hardcourt action will take place in northern Cebu this weekend featuring PBA Greats under the banner of Team North Sports Apparel against the LGU selection of Daanbantayan and the City of Bogo.

Team NSA of coach Paul Alelu Flores and team manager Marc Malazarte will parade former PBA stars Arwind “The Spiderman” Santos, Gary “El Granada” David, RR Garcia, and Alec Stockton in the two-day exhibition games backed up by North Sports Apparel co-managed by Earl Russell Tan, Comfort Zone PH, RD Pawnshop, Bogo City Centrum, and Cafe Alto.

They will play alongside collegiate standouts Paulo Dalumpines, Keaton Taburnal, Wesley Malazarte, and Kin Dayday of the Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges (CRMC) Mustangs, Steve Nash Enriquez of the National University (NU) Bulldogs, Patrick Montaño of the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Pirates, and Matt Flores of the University of the Philippines (UP)-Cebu Fighting Maroons.

At 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, Team NSA will go up against Team Mayor Sun Shimura of Daanbantayan headlined by ex-PBA cagers Dondon Hontiveros, Cyrus Baguio, and Junthy Valenzuela at the Lamberto R. Te Cultural Center.

The following day, February 4, the NSA squad will touch down the floor against Team Mayor Carlo Martinez of Bogo comprised of Jonathan Casinillo, Glenn Yuson, Leode Garcia, Bernie Ursal, JZ Dizon, and Jray Casinillo at the Don Celestino Sr. Sports Complex.

Tickets are priced at P150 for general admission, P250 for lower box, and P500 for VIP/courtside. — (FREEMAN)
