Malabon cites STAR’s Villeza, Peñaredondo

MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Malabon yesterday recognized 79 people, government agencies and organizations for their contributions to the city’s effective implementation of programs.

Mayor Jeannie Sandoval led the “Gabi ng Pasasalamat 2024” awarding ceremony held at the Rizal Park Hotel in Manila.

Among the awardees were The STAR’s reporter Mark Ernest Villeza, who covers Malabon, other local government units and police offices in northern Metro Manila, and photographer Ernie Peñaredondo.

Sandoval said the awardees’ contributions have helped the city government implement its programs, projects and ordinances that led to the successful delivery of services to their constituents.
