NLEX warns of heavy traffic amid Coldplay concert at PH Arena

MANILA, Philippines: Expect heavy traffic heading to the Bulacan towns of Bocaue and Santa Maria, the NLEX Corp. announced on Facebook on Thursday night and again on Friday morning.

The announcement coincides with the concert of British band Coldplay at the Philippine Arena on Friday, January 19 and Saturday, January 20.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.

«Please allot more travel time as [a] high volume of traffic is expected during the event. For motorists heading to Bocaue or Santa Maria, take alternate routes via Marilao or Tambubong exits,» the announcement read. «Traffic personnel will be deployed at strategic areas to provide assistance.»

The band started posting rehearsals at the venue on its Instgram story on Thursday.

The main concert starts at 8:15 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m.
