PCSO breaches P1 billion lotto sales in 2 weeks
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) collected P1.23 billion in lotto revenue from Nov. 1 to 14, or an average of P87.6 million per day.
During the same period, the PCSO said the sales of lottery tickets reached P04.87 million on Nov. 14.
This was the highest daily sales recorded since the PCSO shifted to the Philippine Lottery System (PLS) on Oct. 1, according to PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles.
Robles thanked lotto patrons.
“We are happy that more people are patronizing our lottery games,” he said.
