Resolusyon hinimok ang Kamara imbestigahan pamamaril sa Pampanga demolition | Pilipino Star Ngayon

MANILA, Philippines — Hinihikayat ngayon ng isang mambabatas ang agarang imbestigasyon at pagkundena ng Kamara sa nangyaring marahas na demolisyon sa Angeles City, Pampanga ngayong linggo, bagay na nauwi sa pamamaril sa ilang residente.

Ika-12 ng Marso nang mangyari ang insidente matapos makagirian ng ilang residente ng Sitio Balubad, Barangay Anunas ang ilang miyembro ng Philippine National Police at demolition team dahilan para tamaan ng bala ang ilan.

"[The] violent enforcement of the demolition carried out by the armed demolition team threatens the life and livelihood of the residents of Sitio Balubad," wika ng House Resolution 1645 na inihain ni Pampanga Rep. Carmelo Lazatin II nitong Miyerkules.

"Despite the presence of PNP personnel to ensure peace and order, the demolition, as carried out by the armed demolition team, culminated as not peaceful. The tasteless act of allowing armed private individuals of forcing residents out of their homes cannot be tolerated."

Nakatayo ang Sitio Balubad sa mahigit-kumulang 72 ektarya ng lupaing tinatarget tayuan ng residential subdivision at business center ng Clarkhills Properties Corp.

Oktubre 2023 nang unang subukan ang demolisyon, bagay na nasundan noong ika-8 ng Pebrero. Ang huli ay noong Martes.

Una nang sinabi ng environmentalist group na Kalikasan na posibleng maapektuhan ng demolisyon ang hindi bababa sa 535 kabahayan.

Matatandaang itinigil ni Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. ang negosasyon sa Clarkhills Properties Corp. dahil sa mga surpresa at marahas na demolisyon, habang tinitiyak na makukuha ng gobyerno ang lupain para sa mga residente.

Hinihingi pa ng Philstar.com ang panig ni PNP spokesperson PCol Jean Fajardo at ng Angeles City Police Office kaugnay ng insidente ngunit hindi pa rin tumutugon ang mga nabanggit.

"[It] is imperative for members of Congress, as representatives of our people, to defend the rights of our people and check on excersses and violations, especialy for those who are ravaged by poverty," dagdag pa ng resolusyon.

"NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the House of Representatives, through the Committee on Human Rights, issue condemnation and conduct an
