TikTok star's jealous rage leads to double murder in luxury apartment

Before Ali Abulaban became a TikTok sensation, he was serving in the US Air Force and stationed in Japan. It was there that he met his future wife Ana, who was originally from the Philippines, and they began their romance. After an alleged altercation with one of her friends led to his discharge from the military, the couple relocated to Virginia, where Abulaban's family resided.

Throughout their tumultuous relationship, he often recorded their disputes, peppering them with verbal abuse.

Initially, Ana clung to the marriage, afraid she'd lose her daughter and have to leave the US for the Philippines if they split due to visa issues. Compounded by cultural pressures against divorce, it was a complex web from which to escape. Eventually consumed by fear, Ana resolved to end things and filed for police protection, accusing Abulaban of domestic violence and
