Training for trainers and prospective trainers

San Juan, La Union – On August 2, 2024, 49 trainers and prospective accredited trainers completed the training for trainers facilitated by the Open University System of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, City of San Fernando, La Union on July 31-August 2, 2024.

As the saying goes, “We cannot give what we do not have.” DAR Region 1 continues to assist the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) through the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs). It is timely to enhance the competencies on cooperative with the knowledge, techniques and attitudes and be more efficient and effective facilitators to assists the ARBOs.

Further, it’s a gathering of well tested and committed development facilitators as they mingle and establish bonds with new development facilitators.

RCAO (Engr) Nestor T. Pagaduan in his message to them emphasize the importance of the training and “there would be more training before their accreditation in 2 years.”

This training is part of the Memorandum of Agreement entered into by Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, City of San Fernando, La Union and DAR Region 1.
