Mojdeh sumisid ng 3rd gold sa PAI event | Pilipino Star Ngayon
MANILA, Philippines — Patuloy ang ratsada ni World Juniors Championships semifinalist Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh matapos angkinin ang kanyang ikatlong gintong medalya sa Philippine Aquatics, Inc. (PAI) 50-meter long course National Trials kahapon sa Teofilo Ildefonso swimming pool sa Malate,Manila.
Namayagpag ang pambato ng Behrouz Elite Swimming Team (BEST) sa girls’ 16-18 100m breaststroke matapos magrehistro ng isang minuto at 15.40 segundo para kubrahin ang kanyang ikatlong gold.
Una nang nakaginto si Mojdeh sa 200m breaststroke nang itarak nito ang matikas na 2:40.27 — at malampasan ang 2:40.42 Qualifying Time sa naturang event.
Nakahirit din ng ginto si Mojdeh sa 200m Individual Medley sa oras na 2:26.16.
Nagparamdam din ng lakas sina Gian Santos at Riannah Chantelle Coleman sa kani-kanyang paboritong events.
Naghari ang incoming freshman sa Columbian University sa New York na si Santos sa boys 16-18 class 200m nang ilista nito ang 1:51.39.
Malayo ito sa Southeast Asian Age Group (SEAG) Qualifying Time Standard na 1:55.45.
Nagningning din si Santos sa 400m freestyle tangan ang 4:01.26 at sa 200m breaststroke bitbit ang QTS (2:22.78).
“Just trying my best and possibly inspire the youth here. I hope to represent my country and my long-term goal is to make it to the Olympics,” ani Santos.
May ginto naman si Coleman sa girls 14-15 100-m breaststroke (1:14.12), 200m breaststroke (2:43.55) at 50m breaststroke (33.96).
“I feel so blessed. I just want to thank my parents for their support and to coach Dax (Halili) for believing in me. This is the moment I’ve been waiting for and it’s an amazing feeling if I represent my country in a high-level international meet,” ani Coleman.
