CEBU, Philippines — Ang Professional Youth Fellowship Basketball Advocacy (PYFBA) inabagan a Trillis ug Manley Builders mipahigayon og Rise Above 40:Lift Others As You Rise nga torneyo didto sa House of Rapha Sports Center sa Green Valley Subdivision sa Barangay Capitol Site, dakbayan sa Sugbo.

"With immense pleasure, I would like to welcome you all to our league. More than showcasing your skills, I hope you should make the best of this opportunity to foster fellowship and show your spirit of comradeship with your fellow players. Good luck and have fun!" dason pa ni PYFBA program director Deej Villanueva.

Si Villanueva nagkanayon nga ang Rise Above 40 usa ka kalingawan nga liga kansang tinguha mao ng paghatag sa mga  basketbolista og higayon nga makapakita sa ilang abilidad ingon man makapasingot sa usa ka panaghigalaay nga liga samtang nagpundar og maayong panglawas sa ilang kaugalingon.

"It also aims to boost PYFBA's youth program in a friendly yet competitive way," dugang pa ni Villanueva.

Unom ka teams ang mipakita'g aksiyon sa una nilang Fellowship Games.

Kini mao ang OPRRA Ballers, DepEd Knights, Bamboo Ballclub, YMCA Ballers, Brother In Arms, ug PYFBA Youth Coaches/Volunteers.
